Curiosity

IMG_2558.jpg

Curiosity,
You got the best of me,
And now you’ve made,
A mess of me.
It’s like I’ve got this hole,
I’ve got to hide or fill,
Like a dog without a leash,
And some time to kill.
I’m running around,
Without a care,
Chasing everything,
That puts wind in my hair.

Like a free fall,
From a water wall,
I’m loving that lapse of control,
It’s like forget it all,
The big and the small,
I’m living life without a real goal.

And I know that I’m a mess,
But I call that success,
So since it’s alright with me,
Won’t you just let me be?

Curiosity, yeah, oh oh.

Curiosity,
I think it’s time to leave,
Won’t take too long,
To forget about me,
And all the wonder,
And times that we shared,
Maybe I’ll look back,
And I’ll feel despair,
And you know I’ll search,
But never will find,
You anywhere,
But etched right on my mind.

When I free fall,
From a water wall,
I’m loving that lapse of control,
It’s like forget it all,
The big and the small,
I’m living life without a real goal.

And I know that I’m a mess,
But I call that success,
So since it’s alright with me,
Won’t you just let me be?

Curiosity, yeah, oh oh.

Won’t you just let me,
You could forget me,
That would not bother me,
If you just let me,
Won’t you just let me be.

Curiosity, yeah, oh oh.
Curiosity, Curiosity.
